When a product hurts a child or a company cheats its customers, someone should answer for it.

Chris Hudon, PLLC represents children, families, and consumers in cases against companies whose products and practices cause harm. That includes apps and AI chatbots that put young users at risk.

What we do

Focused on a few kinds of cases

A small firm can give each case close attention. These are the matters the firm handles now.

Technology and AI Harms

Claims on behalf of children and families harmed by chatbots, social apps, and other digital products designed to keep young users engaged at any cost.

Product Liability

Cases over defective design, defective manufacturing, and missing or inadequate warnings, whether the product is physical or software.

Learn more

Consumer Class Actions

Group cases over hidden fees, deceptive pricing, data privacy violations, and unfair business practices that cost each person a little and the company's customers a great deal.

Learn more

Personal Injury and Settlements

Injury claims and settlement work, including settlements for minors, which in Florida can require court approval before they are final.

How it works

What to expect when you call

Most people who contact a lawyer about a case like this have never done it before. Here is how the firm handles a new inquiry.

Contacting the firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. The firm represents you only after we both sign a written agreement.

  1. Tell us what happened

Call or email the firm. A short summary is enough to start. Please leave out sensitive details for now.

  2. A conversation with Chris

If the matter looks like one the firm can help with, Chris will set up a time to talk it through with you directly.

  3. A clear answer

You will hear whether the firm can take the case, how fees and costs would work, and whether any other firm would be involved, before you sign anything.

Recent work

Cases & news

Through his separate Of Counsel role with Normand PLLC, Chris is among co-counsel in James Gates v. OpenAI, a product liability case in San Francisco Superior Court involving an AI chatbot, and in a consumer class action over hotel resort fees. These are Normand PLLC matters, and the claims are allegations that have not been decided by any court.
